Chinquapin Fire & EMS Inc. has proudly served the citizens and community of Chinquapin since 1954, no matter what the emergency, we will be there. Our 28 firefighters, 2 junior firefighters, and 12 EMS members respond to 120 calls for help yearly, while using a rescue/engine, pumper/tanker, brush truck, boat, and EMS unit covering 28 square miles of southeastern Duplin County located in southeastern North Carolina. The highways of NC 41, NC 50, and NC 111 run thru our first due area, we are a rural area with two gas stations, a mini mall, a tire/service center, a body shop, an elementary school, six Church's, and water department in the main part of our community and the out lining area being swine or poultry farms.
