 | S. NC 111 Hwy MVC
On Friday February 20th 2009 Chinquapin Fire & EMS along with Duplin County EMS Medic 5 were dispatched to 518 S. NC 111 Hwy Chinquapin for a 10-50 MVC two vehicles unknown patient's. Chinquapin EMS arrived and found no patient's and cancelled DCEMS Medic 5, CFD E1 & E2 arrived and checked the vehicles for leaks and started traffic control since one lane was blocked. All units cleared the call within an hour and returned to station. CHinquapin Engine 1, Engine 2, and Chinquapin EMS responded with the crew of Fire Chief Mike Casey, Fire Captain David Miller, Firefighter Josh Bergman, Firefighter Justin Gray, Firefighter Alan Harper, Firefighter/EMT Gary Hatcher, Firefighter Chris Hill, Firefighter/EMT Heather Maready, Firefighter David Wood, and Firefighter Kyle Yarbro

Pin Hook Fire, Chinquapin Fire, Maple Hill Fire (Pender Co), and Duplin Co EMS Medic 3 was dispatched to a structure on S. NC 50 Hwy Wallace on Tuesday December 18 2007 at 19:53. Units arrived to find a large church with heavy fire thur the roof. A second alarm was called for Lyman Fire, Fountaintown Fire, Beulaville Fire, Northeast Fire, Nine Mile Fire (Onslow Co), and Back Swamp Fire (Onslow Co), units remained on scene for over 5 hours to get the fire under control.

Chinquapin Fire along with Duplin Co EMS Medic 3 was dispatched to this MVC at the intersection of NC 41 Hwy and NC 50 Hwy Wallace on Monday September 17 2007 at 13:36. Units arrived to find one patient trapped in his vehicle, crews removed to windshild to get the patient out. After the roadway was cleared all units returned to the station.

Chinquapin Fire along with Duplin Co EMS Medic 3 was dispatched to the intersection of NC 41 & 50 Hwy and Ronday Lanier Rd on Thursday June 29 2006 at 10:46. Units arrived to find three vehicles with no injurys, CFD crews controled traffic till the roadway was cleared.

Chinquapin Fire, and Beulaville Fire along with Duplin Co EMS Medic 3 and Medic 5 were dispatched to this MVC at 08:30 on Saturday January 8 2005 at the intersection of S. NC 41 Hwy at S. NC 111 Hwy Chinquapin. Units arrived to find two patients with one being trapped, the jaws of life were used to remove the patient and placed her into EMS care. All units cleared after the patients were transported to the hospital.

Beulaville Fire, Chinquapin Fire, and Duplin Co EMS Medic 3 were dispatched to this MVC on Thursday October 30 2008 at 14:50 in front of 1622 S. N C 41 & 111 Hwy Beulaville. Units arrived to find one patient trapped in his vehicle, crews removed the windshild and removed the patient then placed him into EMS care. The vehicle was off the roadway so units cleared the call and returned to the station.

Chinquapin Fire, Lyman Fire, Fountaintown Fire, and Duplin Co EMS Medic 3 were dispatched to 350 S. NC 111 Hwy Chinquapin at 01:10 on Friday March 28 2008 for a structure fire. Units arrived to find heavy fire thurout the sturcture, a second alarm was placed for water and manpower from Beulaville Fire, Pin Hook Fire, and Northeast Fire. Units remained on scene for over three hours to get the fire under control before returning to the station.

| |  | Fountintown Rd Light Pole Fire
Chinquapin Fire along with Duplin Co EMS Medic 3 were dispatched to 3607 Fountaintown Rd at 08:18 on Wednesday April 16 2008 for a light pole on fire. Units arrived to find the pole had already burned into and was still smoking. CFD crew placed dirt around it to extinguish what was left burning and waited to the power co to arrived before returning to station.

| |  | Firehouse Rd Structure Fire
Chinquapin Fire, Lyman Fire, Pin Hook Fire, and Duplin Co EMS Medic 3, were dispatched to 131 Firehouse Rd on Saturday June/28/2008 at 18:00 for a structure fire. EMS arrived and reported a working fire, units arrived to find heavy fire at the back of the structure also was on the outside back wall of the home. Fire was extinguished with in 5 min, all mutual aid was cancelled while CFD finished there work and returned to station.

Chinquapin Fire, Lyman Fire, and Pin Hook Fire along with Duplin Co EMS Medic 3 were dispatched to 180 Firehouse Rd Chinquapin at 02:43 am on Wednesday December 10 2008 for a structure fire. Units arrived to find heavy fire at the back of the structure and thur the roof. A second alarm was called for Northeast Fire units remained on scene till 06:30 before the fire was extinguished. Crews would return to the sturcture two more times thurout the day before the house was allowed to burn to the ground by the Insurance Co.
